No Longer Separated By Disabilities In Their Own Home

Here’s a wonderful story of a mother and son who were divided in their home logistically by their disabilities. Josh Taylor had moved his mother into his home downstairs to care for her when she became paralyzed by Multiple Sclerosis.

Then the unthinkable happened when Josh himself was in a car accident which crushed his spine and left him in a wheelchair. He lived upstairs in his home and was only able to see his mother twice in a 10 month period when 5 people were available to carry him downstairs. The last time he saw his mother was on Mother’s Day, he said.

Local people got together and donated time and money to supply an elevator to their home so now Josh and his mother Mary can see each other everyday. They are now planning on a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner together.
